Blackboard System

• Your Blackboard username is the same as your Acenet user name.
  For example, if your email address is xx01@evansville.edu, your Acenet user name is xx01.
• Your Initial Blackboard password is your seven-digit Student ID number.
  Your Student ID number can be found on your Student ID card. You must enter all seven digits, including any leading zeros.
• Your Blackboard password is not synchronized with your Acenet password.
  You may set your Blackboard, and Acenet, password to be the same, however, it is not required.
  Changing your Blackboard password will not change your Acenet password, or vice-versa.
• It is strongly recommended that you reset your Blackboard password after you login to Blackboard.
  You can change your password in the "Personal Information" section of "My Institution".
• If you do not know your Student ID, you may retrieve your Blackboard password.
  First, review the Blackboard Resource page, on AceLink, for your account information.
  (This process requires a UE E-mail account.)
